Through asset and stock investment, Cable Solutions becomes UK's largest stockist of NEK 606 Cables

Moving to our bespoke facility in January has enabled Cable Solutions to substantially increase its cable storage footprint, with the installation of a new cable management and storage system. The new system means that we can now action, prepare and despatch cable orders quicker and more efficiently. The asset and stock investment has seen Cable Solutions become the UK’s largest stockist of NEK 606 cables.

NEK 606 cables are manufactured to withstand the harsh operating conditions of the global oil and gas industry. Conductor, insulation, screen, braid armour and cable sheathing are all specified to pass stringent test methods and compliance for offshore applications.

NEK606 standard has allowed the introduction of class 5 conductors which makes the cable more flexible and user friendly. The formation and manufacturing process of the conductors, allows for the cables to be safely handled and installed.
